Client Liaison is all about keeping the client happy! Their role is to identify and understand the needs of the client and make sure these are tendered to at all times. Client Liaison is responsible for service and repairs as well as refit or refurbishment work. Joël Chalk, Head of Client Liaison explains, “We deal with problems immediately!” The time frames and deadlines applied here cannot be compared to the working reality of more traditional yacht building projects. At Client Liaison a project is never considered ‘finished’ because the client is the project. Enhancing excellence in both service and quality standards is paramount to Deutsche Werkstätten.
Client Liaison is always available for its clients, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Joël Chalk, director of Client Liaison explains that once a yacht is ready to sail responsibility for the interiors passes to the captain and crew. “We never leave them alone with this responsibility”. Working closely with the crew ensures that work is carried out at the best possible time, respecting the needs of the client and movements of the boat.
