New challenges in Bonn
Deutsche Werkstätten services:
Planning, project management, interior furnishing, outfitting of interiors with loose furniture
In November, Deutsche Werkstätten handed over to their clients – and consequently to the public – one of the biggest projects of 2009: the Lifestyle Hotel Kameha Grand Bonn hotel with its 254 rooms, including 63 suites. Until now, the Hellerau-based company has concentrated principally on the design, planning and realisation of interior finishings. This was the first time it has acted as project manager on a contract of this size, which involved coordinating 20 different trades and a total of 32 different companies. Remaining true to their roots, the Werkstätten both plannend the interior décor of the rooms designed by Marcel Wanders and carried out the work themselves. They were also responsible for fitting them out with designer furniture and accessories.
